New Horizon Family Health Services

Peritus Engineers provided engineering design services for HVAC and plumbing for the new 64,000 square-foot medical office facility. The diverse medical needs of the surrounding community prompted the concept of a larger facility. The new facility provides expanded medical services including a larger in-house pharmacy, the addition of radiology services and an on-site urgent care center. The additional space and expanded services have allowed New Horizon to provide medical care to more than 30,000 community residents who average 100,000 medical visits per year.

Parkside Pediatrics, Palmetto Family Orthodontics, Upstate Pediatric Dental

Peritus Engineers participated in the simultaneous construction of 3 medical facilities at Verdae in Greenville. Our participation in the projects included HVAC and plumbing engineering design. The HVAC design consist of new multiple split system heat pump air conditioning systems for each building.  This multiple unit design allows for zone control. Palmetto Family Orthodontics and Upstate Pediatric Dental have multiple programmable thermostats while Parkside Pediatrics features a central building automation system. The plumbing design includes waste, vent, and water supply to conventional plumbing systems.

Parkside Pediatrics offers a warm, family environment that includes a private nursing nook, bubble machines in the exams rooms and a small outdoor playground.  (24,700 SF, 3-levels)

Palmetto Family Orthodontics

Palmetto Family Orthodontics provides a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that appeals to patients of all ages and includes a game room and a small play area complete with toys. (6,800 SF, 2 levels)

Upstate Pediatric Dental

Upstate Pediatric Dental offers a welcoming environment with a life size oak tree and walls painted in the image of downtown Greenville.  The unique environment appeals to children of all ages.  (14,700 SF, 3 levels)
